In the lush countryside of Drenthe yet close to major roads and the towns of Emmen and Coevorden, De Uilenberg is a friendly campsite in a convenient location for a stopover when travelling through The Netherlands. If you are looking for a longer break in the countryside there are plenty of walking routes and the Hoogeveense Vaart runs alongside the site for a spot of quiet fishing. The 25 touring pitches (min. 100 sq.m) have 6A electricity and include hardstandings for motorhomes. Families are well catered for with a petting zoo for small children, a playground and a lounge with books, games and a pool table. There are plenty of attractions locally, notably Emmen with its zoo and butterfly garden, and the Plopsa amusement park in Coevorden.

Directions to Camping De Uilenberg

From Groningen on N34, take Erm exit, across roundabout over motorway bridge and straight on at next roundabout N376 (Nieuw-Amsterdam). In 550 m. turn right signed Achterste Erm. Continue for some 2.5 km. then cross bridge at Hoogeveense Vaart. Turn right immediately to site.
