Camping de Montolieu is on the edge of a wooded area in the South of France, fifteen kilometres from Carcassonne. This small, well-organized site is quietly situated and has 38 spacious touring pitches with 5/10-amp hook-up points. The pitches are demarcated with lots of privacy and neatly maintained. Ten mobile homes or safari tents are alsoavailable to hire.

On site you will find a well-equipped recreation room, a pleasant pavement café. In the morning, you can get fresh bread and croissants, and you'll also find a small assortment of local products at the on-site shop. Please note that these services are only available in high season. In July and August, all kinds of activities are organized for guests. On Wednesdays you can join the pleasant “table d’hôtes” meal and on Sundays there is a boules competition, and every Friday evening you can take part in a wine tasting.

The site is 15 minutes from the medieval city of Carcassonne and close to the Canal du Midi. It is the ideal place for those wishing to stay in a green natural setting, to spend an unforgettable holiday as a couple, with family or friends. The nearby town of Montolieu is known as the village of books as there are 16 book shops to explore.

Directions to Camping de Montolieu

From A61/E80 leave at junction 23 Carcassonne-Ouest follow signs towards the town and at a roundabout join the ring road D6161. At a roundabout near a E.Leclerc turn left to join the D6113 in the direction of Castelnaudary. Next turn right towards Montolieu on the D629.The site is on the right 1 km before the village.
