Camping la Poterie is situated on a bank of the River Loire and is bordered by forests and open fields. This site is very much for those looking for ‘back to basics’ camping, well placed for visiting the châteaux of the Loire and the cities of Tours and Orléans. There are just 35 small touring pitches (70 sq.m) on level, sandy ground, separated by hedges, some with shade. Around half have electric hook-up (10A), and there are a limited number of water points. It is on the long-distance Loire à Vélo cycle track, which comprises some 300 km. of marked routes. There are also opportunities for fishing in the Loire. English is spoken.
