La Pelouse can be found at the heart of the Lorraine countryside, in the Meurthe-et-Moselle, and is open for a long season. Around 100 grassy touring pitches are shaded and vary in size. Most have 6A electricity connections. There are also a number of chalets available to rent all year (including models with disability access).

The site lies on the banks of the river le Rupt, which is said to have good fishing. On-site amenities here include a heated swimming pool and restaurant (with takeaway food). Evening entertainment is organised in peak season, including occasional dance evenings. Some train noise can be expected.

The nearby village of Jaulny is best known for its ruined château. This dates back to the 12th century and has links with Joan of Arc.

There are over 250 km. of marked footpaths in the region, and the site owners can recommend routes (maps available). The nearest major town is Nancy (50 km) and is well worth a day trip to view a number of World Heritage sites, notably the sumptuous Place Stanislas.

Directions to Camping de la Pelouse

Leave the A31 motorway (Metz-Nancy) at Pont-à-Mousson and head west on D958 and D3 to Thiaucourt-Regniéville. Follow signs to Jaulny and the site is well signed in the village.
