Camping Paradis la Mer d'Iroise is located in Plomodiern, France, on the coast of Brittany. It is ideally situated for exploring the Finistère department, with its 11 kilometers of coastline alternating between fine sandy beaches, rocky coves and sea caves. The Camping de l’Iroise is located right in the heart of Douarnenez Bay, an ideal location for those who love water sports and exploring the surrounding area. The campsite has 132 touring pitches with electric hook up points available. Pitches are spacious and delimited by mature hedging and are on a slight slope, so levellers are advised. This, however, does give great views of the sea from every pitch.

On-site facilities include an aquatic area with a heated covered swimming pool and paddling pool for children. There are plenty of deckchairs and parasols surrounding the pool, perfect for relaxing on. During the summer months, there are plenty of activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. This includes a kids and teens club with creative crafts, treasure hunts and games. In the evenings, a variety of shows and entertainment are organised by the campsite's animation team. There are lots of dining options on the site as there is a restaurant serving a variety of meals including traditional Breton dishes. There is also a snack bar which is open during the summer and serves quick dishes such as pizza.

Visit the nearby town of Douarnenez. Douarnenez is a charming town located about 13 kilometers from Plomodiern. It is a popular seaside resort with a picturesque harbor, beautiful beaches, and a rich maritime history. In Douarnenez, you can visit the Port-Musée, a maritime museum that tells the story of the town's fishing and canning industries; take a boat trip to the Îles Tristan, a group of islands off the coast of Douarnenez; or simply wander around the town and soak up the atmosphere.pen_spark
