Camping Domaine La Gautière is located on the border between the Drôme and the Vaucluse, not far from the mighty Mont Ventoux. This small, quiet, terraced site has 50 spacious pitches, 20 of which have 6-amp hook-up points available, which are nestled between olive trees and are situated on sloping terrain, so you have some extra work to level your caravan or camper. If necessary, you can get logs and stones from the owner. 12 permanent pitches and 11 mobile homes or chalets are also available to hire.

There is a simple outdoor swimming pool that is not heated but is perfect for taking a refreshing dip to cool off in the summer heat. You can participate in organised petanque and water polo games if you want to be more active during the day. The site also has a small petting zoo and animal paddock. There are goats, chickens, horses, donkeys, a sheep and an alpaca. Children can help take care of the animals when they stay here. During high season, several sports and creative activities are organised by the campsite staff. Treasure hunts, sack races, and painting are organised for children every afternoon. You can also enjoy a drink and a meal at the campsite's restaurant with a terrace which overlooks the pool. In the evenings, there are various activities held at the restaurant, such as karaoke, dance nights and themed evenings.

Directions to Camping De La Gautière

From the N7 at Orange join the D975 towards Vaison-la-Romaine. At a roundabout take the 4^thexit to join the D23. Stay on the D23 until the roundabout with the D977 and take the 2^nd exit. Stay on the D977 until the D938 and join it. At a roundabout take the 3^rd exit and join the D54. Next join the D13 and cross the river to join the D5. Next turn left onto the D805 and almost immediately left again and the site is off this road.
