Located in the centre of the Vechtdal woodland, close to the centre of Hardenberg, is Camping de Klimberg. There are about 371 pitches of which 245 are for touring units, all with 16A electricity and with shade from mature trees. The other pitches in separate areas are used for mobile homes and seasonal guests. Central to the site is a small lake which is used for swimming and fishing and there is an open-air, heated pool with paddling pool. The site’s recreation team organises a variety of activities in high season, including canoe trips on the River Vecht for young and old. Riding is possible on one of the many riding trails.

Reception provides information on routes for walking and cycling. Close to the site is the village of Hardenberg, the De Oldemeyer recreation lake and the theme parks of Hellendoorn and Slagharen. De Klimberg is a peaceful, family site with a Christian ethos, which has everything for a holiday you will not forget. Some road noise can be heard.

Directions to Camping De Klimberg

From the A28 take the exit for Ommen and continue east towards Ommen. After Ommen continue east on the N34 towards Hardenberg. Site is signed on the right, just 2 km. before Hardenberg.
