Alan Rogers Review of Camping De Cauberg
Camping De Cauberg is a lovely small, quiet and friendly site in Valkenburg. With just 60 pitches, all with electricity, 15 of them are fully serviced. It offers everything the discerning camper could want. Used chiefly by adult couples, it is very close to Thermea 2000, a luxury Spa, the casino, and all that Valkenburg offers.
The site opens for six weeks before Christmas, allowing you to visit the famous Christmas Market in the caves and around the town.
Valkenburg is just 15 minutes from Maastricht, which offers numerous musical events, including the famous Andre Rieu annual concert. An essential visit is the coal mine in town, a museum combined with one of the towns numerous and excellent restaurants.
Facilities at Camping De Cauberg
One excellent sanitary block provides WCs, washbasins and showers. Accessible facilities, Laundry. Bar. Play area. Spa within 400 metres. Electric bikes are available to hire. Small shop.
Directions to Camping De Cauberg
From J3 on the A79 follow signs to Zentrum, in the town turn right onto the one way system, after a left turn turn right at the T Junction. As you wind you way through the town turn right signposted Thermea2000 and Cauberg. At the top of the hill just past the spa entrance you will find the site on the right.
