Camping de Bergougne is a small site located close to the 13th-century bastide of Villeréal in the Haut-Agenais. This restful site is a good choice for either relaxing at the poolside or exploring the surrounding country. There are 60 pitches, 48 for touring, with the remainder for mobile homes and tent-bungalows which are available for hire. The touring pitches are mainly in the shade and all have electricity. One toilet block is situated near the reception area and is converted from an original farm building – be careful, head room is limited!
The site is very well located for exploring the region with a great deal of interest close at hand, notably the valleys of the Lot and Dordogne. Cycling is popular here and a number of long-distance cycling and walking routes pass close to the site. The friendly owners will be pleased to make recommendations. Villeréal is worthy of exploration with an excellent weekly market of local produce.
Facilities
Two toilet blocks, one close to reception has limited head room. The second is newer and of a high standard with facilities for babies and accessible facilities, Washing machine. Bar, restaurant, snack bar and takeaway (1/6-15/9). Swimming and paddling pools. Play area. Games room. Library. Pony riding. Fishing. WiFi in bar area (free). No electric barbecues. Communal barbecue area.
Location
Site is northwest of Villeréal. From Villeréal take the northbound D207 and at Rives, follow local signs to site.
