Alan Rogers Review of Camping de Beaufort
Camping de Beaufort is a riverside site located around 20 km. east of Limoges. There are 85 large grassy pitches (all with electricity 15A) and a further 12 pitches occupied by mobile homes and chalets. A number of activities are possible on the River Vienne including canoeing and fishing. The site has a small bar and shop, with a good selection of other shops and restaurants in nearby Saint Léonard-de-Noblat, 1.5 km. distant and accessible by a footpath.
Saint Léonard is an interesting market town, perched above the River Vienne, with two or three museums and an 11th century church. Further afield, the Haute Vallée de la Vienne and le Plateau des Millevaches both offer some excellent opportunities for walking and cycling.

The usual sanitary facilities are provided. Motorhome services. Small shop. Bar. Play area. Paddling pool. Games room. TV room with free WiFi. Entertainment and activities in peak season.
Directions to Camping de Beaufort
Take the N141 from Limoges as far as St Léonard-de-Noblat. Then take the southbound D39 until you reach the campsite.
