Camping Colleverde enjoys a panoramic setting overlooking the beautiful Tuscan city of Siena and the surrounding Chianti hills. The proprietor, Andrea Sassolini, and his family are on hand to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. Open for a long season, this is a great base for visiting Siena and the Chianti region. A bus stop is just 30 m. away and the railway station is 1.5 km. There are 221 touring pitches, some shaded, 97 of which have 10A electricity and hardstandings, and 25 mobile homes can be reserved for short stays. Smart on-site facilities include a swimming pool, a pizzeria/restaurant, bar and a shop.

Siena needs little introduction and is undeniably one of Tuscany’s finest medieval cities, famous for its Palio horse race and its fine cathedral. Colleverde is however also a good base for exploring other gems such as San Gimignano and other small towns such as Montepulciano and Montalcino. This is great country to explore on foot or by bike. Bicycle hire and bus tours to major attractions can be arranged by the site.

Directions to Camping Colleverde

Site is north of the city. Approaching from the north, leave RA3 superstrada (Florence-Siena) at Siena Nord exit. Turn right and follow signs for Hospital (Ospedale) and Camping. Site is 1 km. from the hospital, well signed, and is the only campsite here, so all signs refer to Colleverde.
