Hidden in the Haut Bocage hinterland of the Vendée, le Domaine de l’Eden is a haven of tranquillity. Open all year and just 10 km. from the A83, it is ideal for a stopover. This 15 hectare site has 56 spacious, level touring pitches made up of grass and sand with mature trees providing varying amounts of shade. Four hardstanding pitches are suitable for motorhomes. There are also mobile homes/chalets scattered throughout the site, many available to rent. Amenities include outdoor heated swimming pools for adults and children, and some evening entertainment in high season. Le Domaine de l’Eden offers the chance to taste the real France for oneself and a good network of well marked footpaths and cycle ways is easily accessible.

The site is located 25 minutes away from the dramatic ‘son et lumière’ spectacle, the Puy de Fou, and only one hour from the popular Vendée coastline with its superb beaches, many shops and restaurants. Also close at hand, the Marais Poitevin is a vast area of marshlands, extending south from the Vendée, with over 24,000 km. of canals and waterways to explore by canoe or rowing boat.

Site is signed from N137 Nantes-La Rochelle road, 7 km. south of Montaigu and 30 km. north of Chantonnay. At tourist office, take D62 northeast for 5 km, through Le Pont Lege and follow signs.
