Camping Le Lignon is in Le Chambon-sur-Lignon, Haute-Loire. This family-friendly campsite is located in a peaceful spot on the banks of the river Lignon, with scenic watery views all around and within easy reach of nearby fishing and swimming spots. The site has 88 grass/hardstanding pitches, of which 64 are for touring units, and it has a 10-amp hook-up point, and 19 mobile homes or safari tents available to hire. Pitches are spacious and generally level, with plenty of trees, should you fancy slinking off into the shade.

The campsite provides various amenities, including a snack bar offering breakfast and light snacks throughout the day. There is also a children's playground with a trampoline, Table tennis, a communal library and an above-ground pool if you want to take a quick dip to cool off in the summer heat. As the site is ideally located right next to the river Lignon, it is perfect for those who wish to go fishing or enjoy a relaxing, lazy day watching the world go by. The site staff put on a few gentle, family-friendly activities in summer, including karaoke, dance nights, Zumba classes and boules tournaments.

Camping Le Lignon is a 15-minute walk to the shops and restaurants in the centre of the town in Le Chambon-sur-Lignon. Nearby attractions include steam train rides, an adventure park and a château, all within a 20-minute drive.

Coming from St. Étienne on the N88 southwards take the exit to Yssingeaux. Then take the D103 to Tence. Then take the D185 to Le Chambon. Then follow camping signs.
