The wide sweep of the beach at Agay is only a 500 m. walk from Les Rives de l’Agay, a quiet family run site. There are around 100 shaded touring pitches, a little smaller than most, but all have 6A electricity. There are also 38 mobile homes. The river runs alongside the site on its way to the sea. It is well fenced and there is the option of mooring your boat. Very popular with fishermen, both for river or sea fishing. This site provides a real taste of France with no entertainment and quiet nights, although trains can be heard during the day.
Facilities
The toilet blocks can be heated and include washbasins in cabins and baby baths. Two washing machines. Accessible Unit. Well stocked shop. Bar with snacks and takeaway (both 1/4-15/9). Swimming pool. Play area. Fishing.
Location
From the N98 in Agay take the D100 northwest. Site is 1 km. (on a bad bend).
