Situated just outside Le Bacarés and close to five miles of sandy beaches, Camping California is located beside a busy main road – however, traffic noise is light on most pitches. The 81 separated touring pitches are 80-100 sq.m. in size and have 10A electricity (long cables may be needed). There are a further 179 pitches occupied by mobile homes and chalets, 28 of which are privately owned and the rest are available to rent. This is an extremely busy site in high season when daytime and evening entertainment is organised and this can be noisy. This is a small, but active, site suited to families who like to be busy!
There is an outdoor fitness centre and a two-hectare games field for all the family to enjoy. Helpful reception staff will offer advice on local attractions. A well appointed café overlooks the lovely pool area.
Facilities
Two toilet blocks include individual cabins, hot showers, toilets and facilities for babies and accessible facilities. Laundry. Shop (15/6-15/8). Bar, restaurant and takeaway. Swimming pool, paddling pool and slide. Outdoor fitness centre. Large field for games. Organised entertainment and club for children in high season. Excursions. WiFi on part of site (charged).
Location
From the A9 take exit 41 (Perpignan-Nord) and follow signs for Le Barcarés. After 9 km. take exit 9 towards Canet, Toreilles, then first right to Le Barcarés village. Pass under the motorway (passing Lidl) and California is the third site on the left.Campsite Google Map
