Camping Bissen is a family owned site on two levels, stretching along the banks of the River Sûre, within the idyllic upper-Sûre nature park. The higher level contains privately owned static caravans, with the 70 touring pitches (10A electricity) on the lower level immediately adjacent to the river. There is a well-stocked shop, and a new building houses a bar/snack bar with a terrace overlooking the river. A restaurant owned by the same family is just across the road and offers a comprehensive menu.

During high season a six-day activity programme has something for all the family including creative crafts, sports tournaments and live shows. Those who wish to relax and unwind whilst staying here can enjoy the campsite's wellness facilities, which include two saunas and a whirlpool. Camping Bissen is also an excellent spot for fishing enthusiasts; a permit is needed, but many fish species can be caught here, including trout, pike, perch, eel and carp.

The access roads could prove challenging for large units, particularly in poor weather, due to a very tight and narrow u-bend at the entrance.

Esch-sur- Sûre is only 3 km away. This small but very charming village is typical for the Ardennes, with its castle wedged between the mountains and surrounded by a river, making it one of the most unique places to visit in the country. At 5 km from the camping you will find the reservoir lake of the Sûre, the biggest lake of Luxembourg and the Ardennes. There are various activities here that you can enjoy including swimming, fishing, canoeing or diving.

Facilities at Camping Bissen

Three heated sanitary blocks with free hot water to showers and sinks. Good facilities for children and accessible facilities in two blocks. Family shower room. Laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer. Well stocked shop. Bar and snack bar with terrace. Grass area for ball games. New indoor and outdoor play areas. Entertainment, kids club (high season) Table tennis, (July/Aug). Free WiFi.
