Beausoleil is ideally placed just 200 m. from the beach and a short walk away from the centre of La Palmyre. It is a friendly, family run site for over 60 years, offering a warm welcome to its visitors. Of the 236 pitches, 119 are for touring units. Pitches are grassy, level and offer some shade; 10A electricity is available (Europlug). Whilst most are easily accessible, some are irregularly shaped, so visitors with large units should telephone in advance to ensure availability. The remaining pitches are for mobile homes/chalets, 23 of which are available for rent. This area has many long sandy beaches which stretch on for miles.

This is an attractive well maintained site with some areas being landscaped. It is also quite tranquil, being set amongst pine trees. Royan Zoo and the Forest de la Coubre are close by and there are many cycles trails from which the countryside can be explored. La Rochelle, Rochefort and Saintes are all within easy driving distances.

One unheated sanitary block with preset pushbutton showers and accessible facilities. Some squat style WCs. Hot water to showers and washbasins. Two washing machines and dryer. Basic motorhome services. Fresh bread available. Snack bar and pizzeria (15/6-15/9). TV. Heated swimming pool and paddling pool (1/6-15/9). Play area. Pétanque. Gas barbecues only on pitches. Communal areas for charcoal. Bicycle hire. WiFi throughout (charged).
