Azu’Rivage is 1.5 km. from the small Landais village of Azur, and 10 km. from the Atlantic Ocean and its vast sandy beaches. The 6.5-hectare site is on the edge of Lac de Souston, a huge freshwater lake with sandy beaches and plenty of opportunities for water-based activities. There are 102 touring pitches (100 sq.m) shaded by oak and pine trees, with access to 16A electricity hook-ups (some may need a long lead, or an adaptor, available from reception with a € 20 deposit). A free shuttle bus runs to the beach at Messanges twice a day (except Saturday) in July and August.

Five sanitary blocks are distributed across the site, one with facilities for babies and accessible facilities. Laundry. Motorhome services. Snack bar (Jun-Aug, w/ends April-May). Heated swimming pool complex (1/5-15/9) with slides (July/Aug), paddling pool and jacuzzi. Playground. Activities and entertainment (July/Aug). Multisports pitch. Pétanque pitch. Volleyball court. Communal barbecue. WiFi throughout (10 mins. free daily).

Directions to Camping Azu’Rivage

From Bordeaux take A63 in the direction of Bayonne. Take exit 11 (Magescq) onto D16, cross bridge and take next left (D150 Azur Messanges) and follow for 10 km. In Azur, at roundabout by church, take 2nd exit Route du Lac, at the end turn left and continue to site in 300 m.
