Alan Rogers Review of Camping Au Bord de Loire
Au Bord de Loire is in the heart of the Loire valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a very simple and inexpensive site managed by students from the adjacent Tourism and Gardening College. There are 140 good sized, mostly level, marked but unseparated grass pitches. Of these, 135 are used for touring units and all are equipped with 10A electricity, water and a drain. There are good views over the River Loire but only a little shade. Access is easy for large units. On site you will find a small portable bar open which is open on most evenings in high season and a food van calls a few times a week. There is also a small shop located on site that supplies the essentials as well as a daily bread service.
Facilities at Camping Au Bord de Loire
One large (access by steps) toilet block and two smaller satellite blocks used in high season. Accessible facilities. Small shop, Bakery delivery service, Motorhome services. Large play area. Table Tennis, Football pitch, Kayaking, Fishing, Organised activities, WIFI.

Take D952 from Angers towards Saumur. At Les Rosiers-sur-Loire cross the river, D59, towards Gennes. Site is on the left just after crossing river.
