Camping Au Bois du Cé is near Chambretaud in the Vendée. It is a terraced site near Puy du Fou (5kms). The security barrier operates to allow visits to Puy du Fou and return in the late evening. Come and discover the Vendée, its surroundings, the Grand Parc du Puy du Fou and its Cinéscénie. There are plenty of opportunities for walks, tours and activities. Craft Brewery Melusine manufactures exclusively artisanal and 100 natural products. Family days out in the region could include Planète Sauvage zoo and the Puy du Fou theme park, both of which are around an hour’s drive from the site. LudyLabVR and Escape Game, Drone Indoor and Maker Space and Soapery of the Hills an Artisan soap factory. The site has 56 grass touring pitches with 16-amp hook-up point. There are also 75 mobile homes or bungalows available to hire.

It will take you 10 minutes or so to drive to the resort of Saint Gilles Croix de Vie for super sandy beaches, fishing trips and water sports including surf lessons. Further beaches, bike rides and hikes on the islands of Noirmoutier and Yeu are an hour north of the site. Away from the coast, there’s an adventure park 15 minutes’ drive away for treetop trails, pony rides and laser games, and a canoe centre 10 minutes away. A couple of horse-riding centres within 20 minutes can take you on inland treks or to canter through the waves on the beach.

Directions to Camping Au Bois De Ce

From the A87 take exit 28 and at the roundabout after the toll booth take the 2^nd left turn to join the D160 towards Les Herbiers. Shortly after you have passed over the motorway bear left to join the D27 towards Chambretaud. The site is then on the right off this road and is clearly signed.
