The main attraction of Camping Attractiepark Slagharen is its location beside a theme park, where visitors staying on the site have free access to the attractions. Here you will also find a large supermarket, clothes shops and bars, and American and Chinese restaurants. The site itself only has a snack bar and the bar where discos and country evenings are organised. All 229 reasonably spacious touring pitches are level and on the grass with 10A electricity. They are partly separated by hedges, though generally with an open aspect. The large outdoor pool has many features.

The site appeared busy, even in the low season. Camping Attractiepark Slagharen is suitable for families wanting to enjoy the facilities on offer at the theme park, and we could clearly hear people enjoying themselves on the big rides. The swimming pool is surrounded by terracing with tables and chairs, and the adjacent snack bar is open in season.

Directions to Camping Attractiepark Slagharen

From the A28 between Zwolle and Meppel take exit 22 Nieuwleusen/Dedemsvaart and follow signs to Slagharen. The campsite entrance is just past the entrance to the Attraction Park on the other side of the road. Look for the Wigwam Wereld sign.
