Camping am See is located near Alt Schwerin Mecklenburg-West-Pomerania directly on Lake Plauer. The name of the site is no coincidence because you really are on holiday by the water. The shallow shores are particularly suitable for toddlers and non-swimmers. The site is very popular with all nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet, especially in the early and late season. Due to the unique proximity to the water (1000 m shore length) and the location directly at the nature park, there are many opportunities to get to know the Müritzkreis and the largest closed water sports area in Europe. The family-friendly site is located directly on Lake Plauer See and is ideally suited for your Mecklenburg holiday with a tent, caravan or motorhome. It borders on the nature reserve in the north of Lake Plau, one of the largest lakes in Germany. The site has 200 touring pitches, a few of which are reserved for seasonal units. Cars are not allowed to park on the pitch.

The site is located between Waren Müritz and Plau am See, From the A19 at junction 16 Malchow join the B192 towards Alt Schwerin. The site is located west of the village on Lake Plauer See.
