Camping Ålbæk Strand is a family-friendly campsite located in Ålbæk, North Jutland, Denmark. The campsite is situated near a beautiful sandy beach, making it the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing beach vacation. On-site, there are 250 touring pitches, of which electric hook-up points are available. Most pitches are not delimited and are spread out over large, open, flat fields.
The campsite has several facilities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. These include a communal lounge area where you can relax and socialise with fellow campmates. Here, you will find a TV with a loan of board games and books. The campsite also has a large outdoor natural swimming pool, perfect for a refreshing swim during the summer. There is a large play area for children with a bounce pad and various play equipment, including a zip line and climbing frame.
If you are looking for activities off the campsite, several attractions are nearby, including Grenen, at the northernmost tip of Denmark, where the North Sea and the Kattegat meet. You can walk to the tip of Grenen and enjoy the stunning views. Råbjerg Mile is also worth visiting. It is a large, constantly shifting sand dune. You can climb to the top of the dune for panoramic views of the surrounding area. Den Tilsandede Kirke is a church buried by sand in the 18th century. The church is now open to the public, and you can explore the ruins.
