This small, family owned campsite has been lovingly rebuilt and refurbished to a very high standard. There are great views over the lakes and of the towering mountains surrounding Al Lago. The 105 pitches are of average size, on grass or gravel, with tarmac roads. Some pitches have a slight slope to the lake while others are flat. English and Dutch are spoken at reception and the Penner family is keen that guests enjoy their stay. The small restaurant serves excellent regional food. This site is ideal for watersports, hiking, cycling or for a quiet holiday in a spectacular setting.

The area is renowned for cycling and hiking and assistance in planning can be obtained from reception. For its size the site has a great deal of facilities for the camper, including an awareness of the needs of disabled visitors. Dogs are accepted on site but not on the beach or in the lake. The beach is very pleasant having been sown with fine clean shingle. The wood-fired pizza oven produces genuine Italian pizzas which should not be missed. Restaurants are close by and a supermarket is 200 m. from the gate.

Basics at the mini-market. Bread to order. Very pleasant bar/restaurant with balcony. Snacks and takeaway. TV room. Limited entertainment in high season. Play area. Bicycle and canoe hire. Directions to Camping Al Lago

From Brescia-Verona on the A4 take the S45 or the P572 north to Salò, then the S45 for Riva del Garda. Take the S240 west to Salò and Pieve di Ledro where the site is well signed. Be prepared for a narrow winding last section.
