Alan Rogers Review of Camping Airotel la Pommeraie de l’Océan
La Pommeraie is a delightful, rural campsite with all the touring pitches set amongst apple trees. These not only divide the generously sized pitches, but also produce cider which can be purchased on site. The pitches are attractive and well cared for and are separate from the mobile homes. Unfortunately very few of the facilities here, such as the bar, shop or takeaway are open outside July and August, which is when the campsite comes to life. The owners also run a crêperie a short distance away which is open from April to September.
The small port of Trévignon is two kilometres and five kilometres in the opposite direction is Tregunc, a busy Breton town with shops, bars and restaurants.
Facilities at Camping Airotel la Pommeraie de l’Océan
Two toilet blocks include a baby room and accessible facilities. Laundry with washing machine and dyer. An iron, a hoover and a hairdryer are available at the reception. Shop selling essential items, as well as bread and pastries. Bar and takeaway. Entertainment room and children’s room, open July/Aug only. Games room (coin operated) and TV corner is also open throughout the season. Swimming pools (heated July/Aug). In the pool complex, there is a hot tub, massage jets, waterslides, counter-current river and aquabikes. Fitness room. Tennis. Minigolf. Boules. Multisports court. Play area. Trampoline. Bicycle hire. Paddle and kayak hire. WiFi all over site (paid plans, as well as a free hotspot in bar and entertainment area).
