Terracina is a seaside town between Rome and Naples, with wide, tree-lined avenues leading to a popular sandy beach. Campeggio Europa lies just two kilometres outside the town, next to the Via Appia. It has 179 level, sandy pitches, all with 3A electricity; artificial shade is provided to some pitches. With a small supermarket, snack bar and pizzeria on site, it is possible to while away the days relaxing and enjoying the beach, but many visitors will want to see the Temple of Jupiter Anxur and take a ferry to the beautiful Pontine Islands. Younger visitors are catered for with a playground and organised entertainment in high season. Evening events include live music, games, dancing and themed nights. A shallow river runs through the site.
