Camp Vugec Plac is located at the edge of the medieval town of Samobor, just 15km from the capital, Zagreb. This small site is a hidden gem with only ten touring pitches available, all with electric hook-up points. You will indeed have a quiet, relaxing stay when camping here. You have all the basic necessities to enjoy your holiday, along with a small outdoor swimming pool and a covered outdoor terrace where you can purchase cold refreshments.
It is an ideal starting point for numerous walking excursions in the Samobor Mountains and the Žumberačka gora Park, known for its rolling hills and the numerous vineyards that cover them. After a full day exploring the surrounding area, guests can try the local produce the region offers, which includes many wines from the surrounding vineyards, including the traditional flavoured wine called Bermet. Those with a sweet tooth should not miss tasting kremšnita, the most famous Samobor dessert.
