Alan Rogers Review
Camp Laurent is a small and peaceful CL style, dog friendly, caravan, motorhome and camping site for adults only. There are ten pitches (six for touring), with electricity (6A Europlug), set within eight acres of beautiful countryside just on the outskirts of the village of Saint Laurent-de-Céris. The site borders the River Charente with great views over the valley, open fields and oak forest. The river can be accessed at the bottom of a lovely wooded bank from where you can fish, canoe, or simply sit with a glass of wine and watch the beautiful wild butterflies. The nearby village has a good choice of shops and a bar/restaurant. This is good walking country, with hen harriers, buzzards and kestrels, amongst other birds.
New toilet and shower facilities and washing up area. Facilities for disabled visitors. Washing machine. Swimming pool. Fishing. Canoeing. Picnic areas. Free WiFi.
Leave the A20 motorway at exit 23. Head west on the N145 to Bellac and then on to Confolens on the D951. Continue on the D951 toward St Claud, but before arriving there turn right on the D15 to St Laurent-de-Céris. Just before village, turn right on D345 and site is on right after a builder’s yard.Link to campsite location map on google
