In a wide, open, sunny part of the valley, overlooked by mountains containing the largest glacier in northern Europe, this neatly laid out and well equipped small site offers 35 large, marked and numbered touring pitches, all with electricity connections (10A) and 15 with gravel hardstandings. Located on the outskirts of a village, you can expect neatly mown grass, attractive trees and shrubs and a warm welcome from the owners. Fishing is possible in the river adjacent to the site. Reception and modern facilities are housed in a traditional, turf-roofed building and there is a heated outdoor swimming pool and terrace affording views of mountain peaks.
A garage, mini-market and café are just 100 m. away and the lively town of Sandane is 19 km. However, the owners can advise on the local walks for all abilities, suitable guided glacier walks and an interesting trip by road to a viewpoint that reveals the surface of a glacier without a lengthy trek. Fishing licences can be obtained at reception, and these cover an area of around 10 km. in each direction. With the luxury of a heated swimming pool and terrace, with concessionary rates for guests, there is ample opportunity to relax as well.

The well equipped, heated sanitary unit includes seven shower rooms each with washbasin, on payment. Facilities for families with babies and accessible facilities incorporating a WC, basin and shower with handrails. Kitchen with sinks, hot-plates and dining area. Laundry facilities. Motorhome services. Kiosk selling drinks, ices and confectionery. Swimming pool and children’s pool (24/6-20/8), both heated (charged). Large playground. Fishing. Bicycle hire. Beach volleyball. WiFi over part of site (charged).
