Alan Rogers Review of Ballum Camping
Ballum camping is a quiet, sheltered site near the Wadden Sea National Park. Only 20 minutes from the island Rømø with the broadest sandy beaches in Northern Europe.
The campsite is located in the beautiful Marsch Area with its rich bird life, a paradise for birdwatchers, cyclists and walkers and is not far from the historic towns of Tønder, Ribe and Møgeltønder.
The campsite consists of 160 touring pitches in separated by various fields, each offering space for tents, caravans, and motorhomes. A new circular-shaped harstanding area is available for motorhomes. The sizes of the pitches vary from 100 to as much as 240 m2.
There is a recently renovated playground for the children, including playground equipment and a bouncy castle. There is also a lovely area where you can read or watch TV. As of recently, you can now also play a game of table football or darts.
