Ayr Holiday Park has an unparalleled position overlooking Saint Ives Bay and Porthmeor beach and is a popular, well cared for site. On arrival, it may seem to be all caravan holiday homes but behind them is a series of naturally sloping fields with marvellous views providing a total of 90 pitches, of which 40 are for touring caravans and motorhomes. These pitches are on grass, all with 16A electricity and several fully serviced with hardstanding.

An extra field for tents is open in July and August. A state-of-the-art toilet block provides excellent facilities in a colourful and modern design.

Saint Ives centre with restaurants, bars and supermarkets is within easy walking distance, as is the new Tate Gallery. There is direct access to the coastal footpath. Campers have use of the facilities of the hotel at the top of the site, at extra cost - indoor swimming pool, pool bar and sauna.

The excellent toilet block includes two family shower rooms and facilities for baby changing and accessible sanitary facilities. Wetsuit showers. Fully equipped laundry room. Motorhome point. Indoor swimming pool, sauna and bar in the hotel (charged). Games room with TV, hot drinks and snack machines. Adventure play area. Max. 1 dog, contact site first. Bus calls. WiFi (charged).

Directions to Ayr Holiday Park

From A30 follow heavy vehicles signs for St Ives (not town centre). After 2 miles join B3311 and then B3306 1 mile from St Ives (octagonal building on left). Still heading for St Ives, turn left at mini-roundabout following camping signs through residential areas. Park entrance is 600 yds. at Ayr Terrace.
