Alan Rogers Review of Autocamping Morava
This is an interesting area of contrasts – heavy industry, fertile plains and soaring mountains. Mohelnice is a small industrial town but the campsite is in a peaceful setting surrounded by trees on the northern edge. The amenities on offer, particularly for children, may tempt one to stay longer.
The site is roughly in two halves with the camping area on a flat, open meadow with a hard access road. The 100 touring pitches are not numbered or marked so pitching could be a little haphazard. There are 80 electricity connections (10A). There is little shade but the perimeter trees screen out most of the road noise.
The other part of the site is given over to a two-storey motel and bungalows with a good quality restaurant between the two sections. Good English is spoken at reception and it is a very pleasant, well-organised site.
Facilities at Autocamping Morava
The toilet block is satisfactory. Electric cooking rings. Restaurant (May-Oct). Kiosk/snack bar. Small shop (May-Oct). Live music (high season). Swimming pool (May-Oct). Tennis. Minigolf. Bicycle hire. Road track – driving and cycling learning area with tarmac roads, road signs, traffic lights and road markings well set up to give youngsters a practice area without the hazard of normal traffic. Playground. TV room.

Site is signed on the western edge of town on road to Svitavy.
