This is an interesting area of contrasts – heavy industry, fertile plains and soaring mountains. Mohelnice is a small industrial town but the campsite is in a peaceful setting surrounded by trees on the northern edge. The amenities on offer, particularly for children, may tempt one to stay longer. The site is roughly in two halves with the camping area on a flat, open meadow with a hard access road. The 100 touring pitches are not numbered or marked so siting could be a little haphazard. There are 80 electricity connections (10A). There is little shade but the perimeter trees should screen out road noise.
The other part of the site is given over to a two storey motel and bungalows with a good quality restaurant between the two sections. Good English is spoken at reception and it is a very pleasant, well organised site.
