Alan Rogers Review of Autocamp Bor

Located close to the centre of the City of Krk, famous for its 5th-century cathedral, Camping Bor features a high standard of accommodation, a couple of small swimming pools and a good quality restaurant, serving homegrown wine. The family-owned and run campsite, Autocamp Bor is only a couple of minutes walk from the main beaches, though you should be prepared for an uphill slog on the way back to the campsite. Facilities for the storage of vehicles are available. The ground can be hard and is somewhat sloping in places. Spread across terraces, shade can be limited on some pitches, but this is more than compensated by the views. Popular with the Dutch and Germans, this is a part of Europe which isn't visited as frequently as others by the Brits.

Dogs accepted (maximum 2 per pitch). Chemical waste disposal point. Hot & cold showers. Laundry available. Restaurant/bar with a good selection of food and drink available (seasonal). A small shop with a limited selection of goods. BBQ's permitted. Small children's playground. No entertainment program.

Directions to Autocamp Bor

If arriving on the island via the D102, follow the road towards Krk for approximatly 24km. On the outskirts of Krk, at the roundabout take the 1st exit (signposted Krk 1km) After 1km turn right on to Ul. Stjepana Radića (signposted Krk) Follow this road for 1.2km to the next roundabout, wher you take the 1st exit. Follow the signs to the campsite.
