This family run site on the outskirts of Le Château-d’Oléron has very good facilities, including a superb equestrian centre, a full range of sporting activities and an attractive heated pool complex. This is a mature site with 265 pitches of a good size, with varying degrees of shade provided by trees and attractive shrubs. It is well laid out and most of the 110 touring pitches have electricity (10A.) The remaining pitches are used for mobile homes, chalets and bungalows of which 72 are to rent. A full entertainment programme is provided in high season. Visitors can enjoy exploring the island with its fine sandy beaches on the Atlantic coast.
There are miles of flat tracks on the island for walking, cycling or horse riding. The equestrian centre offers courses up to a week in length for riders ranging from novice to experienced and is available all year round.
