Aestiva Camping de Sorel is located north of Compiègne, close to the A1 motorway and is ideal as an overnight stop. The site has 120 large grassy pitches, of which 70 are available for touring, all with electrical connections (three with water and wastewater).

The original farm buildings have been carefully converted to house the site’s main amenities, including a bar, restaurant and toilet facilities. The site is open for a long season, but most amenities are only available from April to September. The site is, however, close to the village of Sorel with its shops and restaurants. There are five mobile homes to rent.

Compiègne lies 15 km. to the south and its château, and several interesting museums are well worth visiting. There is also an important golf course in the town. Closer to the site, the GR123 long-distance footpath runs through Sorel and offers the opportunity to explore the surrounding countryside on foot.

Directions to Aestiva Camping de Sorel

Take exit 11 from the A1 motorway (Lille-Paris) and join the northbound N17. Site is signed to the right on reaching village of Sorel after 8 km.
