On the edge of a ten-hectare lake, this site is ideal for watersports enthusiasts. It includes activities for the whole family – wakeboarding, swimming, kayaking, sailing, pedalos, beach volleyball and much more. This site offers around 100 marked grass pitches (120 sq.m., all with 16A electricity) for touring, small hedges and some shade from mature trees. The site is popular with youth groups, but the touring area is separate and seemed quite tranquil when we visited in July. The site claims to have the only water ski tow in Western France suitable for both expert and novice. Bring your cycle as you will want to explore the route around the lake — chalets and gîtes to rent (all year). Futuroscope is easily accessible from this location.

Two modern sanitary blocks with WCs, showers and washbasins in cabins. Accessible facilities. Bar and restaurant (seasonal). Small shop with bread to order. Motorhome services. Tennis. Minigolf. Football pitch. Fishing. Pedalos. Canoes. Direct access to lake. No barbecues. Mobile homes and chalets to rent. WiFi.

Moncontour is northwest of Poitiers. Take N147 then D18 towards Moncontour. Site is well signed from the town (green signs).
