This well-run, modern site is pleasantly situated in Delft's park and forest area on the city's eastern edge. It has 200 touring pitches formally arranged in groups of four to six and surrounded by attractive trees and hedges. All have sufficient space and electrical connections (10A Europlug).
This popular site is run in a personal and friendly way. The 200 pitches for touring units (some with hardstandings for larger units) are laid out in small groups, divided by hedges and trees and all with 10A electrical connections. Cars are mostly parked in areas around the perimeter and 100 static caravans, confined to one section of the site, are entirely unobtrusive. Reception, a pleasant, good quality restaurant, bar and a snack bar are grouped around a courtyard-style entrance which is decorated with seasonal flowers. The site has a small outdoor, heated pool (13.5x7 m) with a separate paddling pool and imaginative children’s play equipment. A member of the Holland Tulip Parcs Group.
A compact, family run site located in the area known as The Green Heart of the Netherlands. You should expect a heartwarming welcome from the enthusiastic owner at de Grienduil, which has a total of 22 touring pitches ranging in size from 100 to 120 sq. metres and with computer-controlled current (6-16A) to the electricity hook-ups. Your unit will be placed on-site by the owner, as cars are left outside the campsite.
Camping De Krabbeplaat is a family run site situated near the ferry port in a wooded, recreation area next to the Brielse Meer lake. There are 448 spacious pitches, with 68 for touring units, all with 10A electricity, cable connections and a water supply nearby. A nature conservation plan exists to ensure the site fits into its natural environment. The lake and its beaches provide the perfect spot for watersports and relaxation, and the site has a harbour where you can moor your own boat.
A rustic style site built around old farm buildings, Camping ’t Weergors has a comfortable mature feel. At the front of the site is a well-presented farmhouse which houses the reception and includes the main site services. The sanitary blocks are modern and the farm accommodates an attractive à la carte restaurant and pancake outlet. The reception includes a new minimarket from where you can order fresh bread. There are currently 120 touring pitches (plus seasonal and static places).
A vast site, Duinrell’s name means ‘well in the dunes’, and the water theme continues in the adjoining amusement park and the extensive indoor pool complex. The campsite itself is huge, with 750 touring places on several flat, grassy areas (60-140 sq.m), and it can become very busy in high season. As part of a continuing improvement programme, the marked pitches have electricity, water and drainage connections, and some have cable TV.
Within an hour’s drive of the port of Rotterdam, you can be pitched on this delightful, spacious site lying south of Utrecht in the green heart of the Netherlands. De Victorie is a working organic farm, with fields all around and Limousin cattle with their calves, and offers an alternative to the bustling seaside sites. A modern building houses reception, an open plan office and a space with tables and chairs, where friendly owners may invite you to a cup of coffee. The 100 grass pitches (100-200 sq.m) are level, dotted with leafy trees and have a 6A electricity supply.
De Klepperstee is a good quality, family site. The site itself is peacefully located in tranquil countryside amid renowned nature reserves and just outside the village of Ouddorp in Zuid-Holland. It offers excellent recreation areas that are spread over the centre of the site giving it an attractive open parkland appearance which is enhanced by many shrubs, trees and grass areas. The 338 spacious touring pitches are in named avenues, mostly separated by hedging and spread around the perimeter, together with the seasonal and static caravans. There is a new 24-hour, drive-in motorhome park with 16A electricity, sanitary facilities and a service point.
This is an ultra modern, all-year-round centre and family park with many chalets, villas and bungalows to rent and a large indoor swimming pool complex. The wooded touring area is immediately to the left of the entrance, with 330 pitches in shady glades of bark-covered sand. All pitches have electricity (10A), water, waste water and cable TV connections. In a paved central area are a supermarket, a snack bar and a restaurant. The main attraction here is the Meeresstrand, 500 m. from the site entrance. This is a long, wide sandy beach with flags to denote suitability for swimming. Windsurfing is popular.
Camping and Marina De Meeuw is located on the south side of the Brielse Maas lake in Brielle, Netherlands. It is a campsite with a marina built on and around a fortification dating back to 1850. The campsite now uses the former fort moat as a marina. The campsite is quiet at the end of the Accuweg along the Brielse Maas. There are 415 pitches on site, of which 165 are for touring and have electric hook-up points available. Some are delimited by mature hedging whilst others are spread across grassy fields. The majority of pitches on site are seasonal.
This glamping site offers overnight facilities, including breakfast, in very unusual accommodation, De Vreemde Vogel (The Strange Bird) is the creation of Davy and Petra Knijnenburg. Located in a natural setting on the edge of Vlaadingen the site reflects and combines the differing backgrounds of its owners, hotels and farming. The Ostrich, a caravan perched high above the ground with accommodation for two, The Bird House, a nest box somewhat more substantial than normal, capable of accommodating four people, the Iron Bird, an aircraft situated on the bank of the river running through the site, with beds for 4, plus many more exciting sleeping possibilities, all heated and with full sanitary facilities. Cars are parked outside the site on the adjacent public road - No touring pitches available.
Camperpark Kinderdijk is a campsite located in the centre of Alblasserdam on the harbour in South Holland, Netherlands. It is a very clean and well-maintained site with 44 spacious pitches. While the campsite itself is basic, its location is its biggest selling point.
Toppershoedje is a great choice for a seaside holiday. A large, sandy beach is easily reachable on the other side of the dunes (five minutes on foot). This beautiful beach is probably the main appeal of this site, particularly as it gently slopes into the sea and is therefore ideal for children. Even in high season, the beach is never crowded. Toppershoedje has spacious, grassy pitches with 10A electricity, but shade is limited. It is located at the western end of the island of Goerre-Overvalkkee, and close to Lake Grevelingen. This lake is very popular with watersports enthusiasts.
Camping Port Zélande is in South Holland/Zeeland, directly on Grevelingen Lake, the largest saltwater lake in Western Europe, and within walking distance of the North Sea beach. The site borders Center Parcs with the same name. You have free access to this park with its numerous facilities and activities. On arrival, ensure you take the correct exit and not end up in the bungalow park. The site has 200 touring pitches that have a 6/10-amp hook-up point. And there are 6 Pods and 4 Glamping Lodges available to hire. All camping pitches are located on lawns surrounded by woodland. There are ten paved pitches available for
Molecaten Park Waterbos is a small, friendly campsite located behind dunes on the island of Voorne. The site is within easy walking distance of the broad sandy beach at Rockanje. This beach slopes gradually and is ideal for young children. There are 340 pitches here, of which 140 are for touring units, shaded by large trees and located on several grassy fields, often with play areas at the centre. There is a choice of basic, comfort and comfort-plus pitches, all with electricity (6/10A). The latter group comprises deluxe pitches, each equipped with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. There are also mobile homes, luxury accommodations and fully equipped tents for hire.
This site is easily accessed from the A15 southern Rotterdam ring road and is situated right by the river, so it is well worth considering if you are visiting Rotterdam or want a peaceful stop amid rural surroundings. It also doubles as a marina, with 117 berths and a trailer ramp. The touring pitches are sited away from the residential section; all are on grass and have a 10A hook-up. Leafy trees dot the site, and there is a pleasant separate touring area for 11 motorhomes with electricity, water and wastewater connections in a hedged group near the marina and river.
Camping de Grevelingen is ideally located on the edge of the Grevelingenmeer water sports area, on Goeree-Overflakkee, on the border of South Holland and Zeeland. From the site, the Randstad seems far away. And yet, via the Rotterdam ring road, it is only half an hour. Three-quarters of an hour to the outskirts of Breda and an hour to Antwerp.
Camping Op Hoop Van Zegen is a small site in South Holland near the town of Noordwijkerhout in a 125-year-old cheese farm and near the bulb fields. The site has 140 grass touring pitches which have a 6-Amp hook-up point. A higher amperage electricity is possible and can be indicated at the reception upon arrival.
Rondeweibos is a pleasant family site within walking distance of a sandy North Sea beach. The flora and fauna in this beautiful dune area is unusual, and, adjacent to the site, there is a pretty lake, Het Quakjeswater, home to various birds including spoonbills and silver herons. The sea here is calm and excellent for younger children to swim, play or paddle. All pitches at Rondeweibos are comfort pitches, and there is also the option of renting a private sanitary unit (with shower, toilet and wash basin). A number of mobile homes (beach home caravans) are available to rent.
Camping Sollasi lies beside the Oosterduinse lake, between the bulb fields and the edge of the woods and dunes. The lake offers plenty of opportunities for fishing, swimming and watersports activities. The comfortable site provides 170 permanent pitches and 40 for touring units, these being divided into several fields and separated by hedges. All have 6A electricity and there are water taps on each field. Children will enjoy the play area and sporting visitors can play tennis or go windsurfing on the lake. The site has two restaurants, an Indian restaurant and a pizzeria.

Zuid-Holland is an historically rich province with much to offer the tourist: lakes, rivers and the sea provide endless opportunities for watersports, while the flat landscape is ideal for cycling and walking.
No visitor to this part of the Netherlands should miss seeing the spring-time riot of colour that adorns the fields and gardens of South Holland.
Together with Nord-Holland, Zuid-Holland is one of the most prosperous areas of the lowlands. Most industry these days is confined to the middle sized Dutch towns and cities, but everywhere you will see evidence of the country’s more extensive commercial past, particularly in the cities of Rotterdam and The Hague.
The modern port of Rotterdam is a vibrant city packed with art and cultural activities – galleries, concert halls, theatres and museums abound. In
The Hague, the seat of government, royal palaces, stately embassies and town houses give the city a regal atmosphere; a stone’s throw from the city are the resorts of Scheveningen and Kijkduin and the theme parks of Duinrell and Drievliet.
In the north of Zuid-Holland is the landscape of the Holland Lakes, an area dotted with lakes, rivers and drainage canals, all interspersed with wide, open polders. The Green Heart, hidden between the big cities of the Randstad, is a vast oasis of peace and tranquillity that lends itself to a variety of open-air activities. With its coastline and pleasant resorts, the bulb region also has much to offer visitors who want a summer beach holiday.
