This busy, good value site is located beside the attractive River Ariège and near the town. There are 87 level, grassy, touring pitches with shade provided by a variety of trees (electricity 10A). At the rear of the site are 123 site owned chalets and mobile homes for hire. A gate in the fence provides access to the riverbank for fishing. Open for a long season, it is an excellent choice for early or late breaks, or as a stopover en-route to the winter sun destinations in Spain. This region of Ariège is in the foothills of the Pyrenees and 85 km. from Andorra.

Didier Mioni, the manager here follows the town motto ‘S’y passos, y demoros’ – if you wish to come here, you will stay here – in his aim to ensure your satisfaction on his site. At Tarascon itself you can visit the Parc de la Préhistoire to view prehistoric rock paintings, take full-day guided walks or the really adventurous can take to the air for paragliding, hang gliding or micro lighting. A wellness chalet offers massage in high season.

Site is 600 m. south of town, adjacent to the river. From north, turn off main N20 into the town, site well signed. From south (Andorra) site signed at roundabout on town approach.
