Bordeaux is undeniably one of France’s ‘must see’ cities and now it has a superior campsite. Adjacent to the exhibition centre and beside Bordeaux Lac, the site opened in 2009 and is open all year. The facilities and accommodation are of top quality. There are 119 touring pitches, some on well kept grass, others, primarily for motorhomes, have hardstanding. Some have electricity, water and drainage. Within the 14-hectare campsite, there are also 175 well-equipped chalets and mobile homes (3 specifically with accessible facilities) to rent. The site is arranged around five attractive, man-made lakes and set amongst tall trees.

Situated just 30 minutes (by bus from the site and train) from the centre of Bordeaux, the site is in an ideal location for visiting this vibrant city, the exhibition centre and the many attractions in this area. A city pass can be purchased for this purpose and tickets for guided tours, organised by the Tourism of Bordeaux, are available from reception. Overnight pitches are available for those just passing through. Bordeaux Lac will be the first site in Europe to fully comply with French Haute Qualité Environmental guidelines.

Directions to Yelloh! Village Camping Bordeaux Lac

At Bordeaux, take the A630 ring road and exit 4A. Follow signs for Parc des Expositions and signs for campsite. At roundabout take second exit (right) and site is 700 m. on the right.
