Wombleton Caravan Park is nestled between the North Yorkshire Moors and the East Coast resorts, in the heart of Ryedale and North Yorkshire. The Park has both gravel and grass pitches for caravans, hard standing pitches for motorhomes and campervans, along with a tent field and grass pitches for tents. Electric hook-ups 10amp are available to all caravans, motorhomes, and campervans. Tenters have a choice of either taking a pitch with electric or without. The Park has 118 caravan pitches (80 of which are occupied by seasonal units), six motorhome and campervan pitches, and seventeen tent pitches.
The site does not allow cycling or ball games and does not have a designated play area for children. However, there is an excellent playground in the village with swings, slide, seesaw and much more plus a cricket pavilion, tennis courts, and football pitch. Please note that commercial vehicles or paneled vans are not accepted.

The modern shower block provides toilets, showers and washbasins. Accessible sanitary facilities. Family shower room. Dish washing area. Chemical toilet point. Laundry room with iron, ironing board, microwave, fridge and freezer. Motorhome service point. Shop. Gas sales. BBQ’s allowed. Information centre. Lending library, board games and DVD’s. Wi-Fi across the park at a small charge. Dogs allowed. Dog walk. Caravan/motorhome winter storage. Twin axle caravans allowed.
