This family run campsite is laid out on a large sloping meadow only one mile from the golden sands at Widemouth Bay, and you are assured of a friendly welcome here. There are wide ranging views over the wonderful Cornish countryside. There is much to see and do in the surrounding countryside including many local villages to explore. There are 140 good sized pitches laid out in rows, all with 16A electricity and 120 on hardstandings. The remaining pitches are in another grass meadow. There is no shade as trees find it difficult to grow in the salty air.
A small shop, bar and takeaway are close to reception. The site runs a minibus link to the local beaches and to Bude. This area has a lot to offer the holidaymaker - great scenery, the coastal path offering a real challenge to walkers, numerous cycle routes along leafy lanes. The wonderful beaches are a magnet for surfers and other watersports enthusiasts.

Large, modern, well appointed toilet block with preset showers and some washbasins in cabins. Family bathrooms and accessible sanitary facilities. Laundry. Bar. Café with good menu and breakfast. Small play area. Sports field.

Leave M5 at exit 27 signed Barnstable. Take A361, then A39 signed Bideford and Bude. Continue on A39 3 miles beyond Stratton. Look for layby just beyond crossroads to Widemouth Bay. Enter layby, Widemouth is second park on the left.
