Alan Rogers Review of Weston Caravan and Campsite

Weston Caravan and Campsite is a scenic rural campsite set on a former dairy farm (Manor Farm) in the picturesque village of Weston-on-the-Green. It strikes a balance between a peaceful countryside escape and an incredibly accessible base for exploring Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds.  Located just a few minutes' drive from Junction 9 of the M40 and the A34. It serves as an excellent stopover for cross-country travellers or a central base for regional holidays.

The site spans a large, level, well-maintained grass field bordered by hedges and farmland. It offers approximately 34 spacious, independently spaced pitches (each measuring roughly 10m x 10m)  with electric hook-up connections. The site operates primarily on a self-service or "virtual check-in" system. Guests typically receive their pitch details via text or email and head straight to their spot, though staff are contactable by phone.

One of the standout features of Weston Caravan and Campsite is its highly-rated on-site café, The Milk Shed. It serves freshly prepared food, including all-day breakfasts, speciality coffees, homemade cakes, salads, pies, and locally sourced cheeses. They are also famous for producing homemade ice cream with up to 16 different rotating seasonal flavours.

If you want to leave the car or motorhome parked, a brief 5-to-10-minute stroll into the historic village of Weston-on-the-Green brings you to a lovely traditional pub serving excellent food and local ales.
