Sea Barn and West Fleet are located just half a mile apart in delightful countryside overlooking the Fleet Lagoon, Chesil Bank and Lyme Bay – all part of the Jurassic coast. Only tents, trailer tents and motorhomes with tents and awnings are accepted. The parks share some facilities. West Fleet has 250 pitches, 112 with electricity. Sea Barn has the same number of pitches but only 68 electric hook-ups. These are situated in grassy meadows, some sloping, some protected by trees and hedging, many with wonderful views. West Fleet has a newly rebuilt Clubhouse with bar, which serves good local steaks.

An outdoor pool and clubhouse are at West Fleet, and a smart new toilet block at Sea Barn. Both have their own reception with well stocked shops. Sea Barn is quieter and popular over a longer period with spectacular views, whereas West Fleet attracts families. Both are popular with birdwatchers, walkers and fishermen.

Facilities at West Fleet Holiday Farm

A modern block at both sites houses an en-suite accessible bathroom and two bathrooms (free), plus a traditional block each for peak season. Laundry facilities at both sites. Heated pool at West Fleet (May-Sept). Bigger shop offering wider range at West Fleet which also has the Club House (peak season and w/ends) with refurbished bar in a stone and brick building (home produced steaks the speciality). Breakfast served. Family entertainment. Adventure play area at Fleet and smaller area at Sea Barn. Games field. Torches useful. WiFi most areas (charged). Accommodation to rent.

Directions to West Fleet Holiday Farm

From Weymouth take the B3157 coast road for Abbotsbury. Pass Chickerell and turn left at mini-roundabout to Fleet. Pass church on right and continue to top of hill. Sea Barn is to the left, West Fleet to the right.
