A pretty new site on the lakeside, this is a great alternative to the larger sites in the area. It is set in the grounds of the oldest villa on the lake (restoration is in progress) and the whole site has been refurbished to a very high level using the existing historic buildings to provide the high quality amenities. The 40 flat, good sized pitches are under enormous trees giving excellent shade and there is a very peaceful atmosphere with some pitches enjoying lake views. A section of permanent pitches is placed unobtrusively in a separate area of the site.

A very nice pool at the lakeside overlooks the island of Polvese and meals taken at the new restaurant share this prime view. English is spoken but it is a great place to practise your Italian, especially at weekends when professional entertainment is provided. The staff also organise tours of beautiful Umbria but there is a temptation just to enjoy the ambience here and lose yourself in the attractive surroundings. It is an excellent site for those who do not want the brashness of the larger sites.

The sanitary unit for touring units is very high grade, bright and airy. British style toilets and very clean showers, plus an excellent accessible unit. Hot water throughout. Washing machine. Excellent new restaurant. Bar. Swimming pool (May-Sept). Water aerobics. Small play area. Entertainment for adults (weekends). Lake beach.

Directions to Villaggio Parco dei Pini

From Perugia-Bettolle road, take Torrecella exit and follow lakeside road south to San Feliciano. Site is well signed off this road.
