Alan Rogers Review of Village Camping Europa
You will receive a friendly welcome at this quality, family run site. The flowers, shrubs and trees are lovely and everything is kept neat and tidy. There are 194 medium to large sized pitches (110 for touring) on level, stony grass. Rock pegs are advised. All pitches have 6A electricity and 18 have 10A electricity, water and drainage. The static units are to one side of the site giving the impression that you are on a small site. There may be some noise from the adjacent main road. This is a good base from which to tour the Lake Annecy area and there is direct access to a 42 km. cycle path, which travels the length of the lake.
Europa should suit those families who like to make their own entertainment, although there are some activities for children and a weekly soirée (high season) in addition to a pool complex with slides, jacuzzi, cascade and paddling pool. A new children’s aquatic complex is adjacent. An adult area features individual banquettes with massage jets, a separate heated jacuzzi and a channel with jets on either side.
Facilities at Village Camping Europa
Two very good toilet blocks, modernised to a high standard, have all the necessary accessible facilities including some large cubicles with both showers and washbasins. Good bar and restaurant (26/5-31/8). Boulangerie with fresh bread daily (1/6-15/9). Traditional swimming pool (14/5-13/9) and aquatic complex (14/5-13/9). Bicycle hire. Miniclub. Some musical evenings. WiFi (charged).

From Annecy take D1508 (previously N508) signed Albertville. Site is well signed on the right on leaving St Jorioz.
