This family run site in a central Netherlands rural environment is very close to a public lake with sandy beaches set in pine woods, catering well for families. With this popular attraction within walking distance, the site has a fairly high proportion of residential mobile homes and seasonal caravans but provides 200 marked pitches for touring units out of the overall 500. Accessed by a central tarmac road these are nicely situated around the edges of small hedged field areas on level grass, with electricity (4/16A) available to all. The newer area at the top of the site has individual pitches (some with toilet units) with young hedging overlooking the fields.

The main facility area in the centre of the site provides entertainment for children during school holidays with a pleasant café area and the usual small animal enclosure popular with the Dutch. The reception at the entrance to the site is in the traditional farmhouse and is extremely well appointed in the style of the region, with good local information. Some English is spoken. There are many walks and cycle ways and the site is also well situated for visiting Amsterdam by train or road (60 km).

Five well spaced sanitary units are well equipped and of good quality. Accessible Facilities, bathrooms and baby rooms shared between the units. Hot water is charged (€ 0.50) except in the washbasins (some in cubicles). Laundry room. Shop (all season but less hours in low season as is restaurant/bar and café). Children’s play equipment on sand and grass. Swimming at lake within walking distance. A limited number of dogs are accepted (check with site). WiFi throughout (charged).

From A28 take exit 5 for Maarn and follow N227, then left onto N224 to Woudenberg. Follow signs to site.
