Brabant is an attractive holiday region within easy reach of large cities such as Den Bosch and Nijmegen. The main attraction at this well-equipped site is the large swimming lake with a restaurant, snack bar and sandy beaches. There are four grades of pitch available, ranging from the relatively simple standard pitch to top of the range comfort pitches (with 10A electricity, cable TV connections, water and drainage).

Visitors need not leave the site as the shop is very well stocked, the Twinkle Club in high season keeps the children occupied, and there is entertainment for adults. Twin-axle caravans and units over 7.75 m. are not accepted. A range of chalets and mobile homes are available to rent.

An extensive leisure park surrounds the site and boasts a wide range of activities, including go-karts, minigolf, pedaloes and pony rides. A section of the lake has been cordoned off and is no deeper than 2 m. During peak season, bonfires are regularly organised on the lakeside.

Bikes can be hired on-site, and there are many miles of excellent cycle trails through the surrounding countryside.

Directions to Vakantiepark De Bergen

Head south from Nijmegen on A73. Take the exit to Boxmeer and follow signs to St Anthonis. Here, head north on D602 to Wanroj, from where the site is clearly signed.
