What makes De Jutberg attractive is the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly staff and the natural setting of the site. This is a typical Dutch Veluwe campsite with curved paths and different types of pitches, 145 in total. They range from luxury pitches with all the modern comforts of water, drainage, electricity and cable TV, to rather more natural pitches without any services. Some pitches are a distance from the toilet blocks. Almost all are surrounded by trees or hedges providing shelter and privacy. The site is set in a rural environment so there is not much lighting. During hot days, the swimming pool and sun lounge area is the place to be and at night there is often a camp fire to enjoy. Adjacent to the touring pitches are several areas occupied by private chalets, all hidden in their own wooded glades.
The quiet atmosphere of this site belies the range of facilities available, from outdoor play areas, including a full-size football pitch, to a nature hut and stone sculpting workshop. Bicycle hire allows everyone to access the many trails of the Veluwe forest and local towns worth visiting include Arnhem and Zutphen.
