Alan Rogers Review of Trelay Farmpark
This quiet, small but spacious site is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and easily accessed from the B3359. It lies a little back from the coast, just over three miles from the lively port of Looe and the pretty fishing village of Polperro. Despite the name, there is no farm. On your right as you drive in, and quite attractively arranged amongst herbaceous shrubs, are caravan holiday homes (15 privately owned, some let by the park). The touring area has 30 pitches, six with hardstanding and all with 16A Europlug, in addition to some holiday homes and a play area. The coastal path is nearby and sandy beaches are within easy reach.
Pelynt is within walking distance, some 800 m. along the main road, and has a Spar shop with Post Office, a butchers and a pub. A very simple takeaway service operates in July and August. The park is well positioned for touring this beautiful part of Cornwall.
