Family-run Thirlestane Castle Park is beautifully situated on the outskirts of the Royal Burgh town of Lauder, within the historic parklands of Thirlestane Castle. It is just five minutes walk from local shops and hotels and equally well located for those wishing to find a central base for exploring the Scottish Borders. The park was established over twenty years ago and has an enviable reputation as a quiet, friendly and welcoming site.
The 50 touring pitches, 22 on hardstanding, are fairly level, and all have electricity connections (10A). Very large motor homes cannot be accommodated, but twin-axle caravans are welcome. The area has numerous activities, including fishing and golf, and the Southern Upland Way is only 300 m. away. There is a direct bus service to Edinburgh (1 hour).

The site is located on the southeast fringe of Lauder. From the A68 take the B6382 just southeast of Lauder. The park is on the left shortly after turning onto the B road.
